While not as small as its the Toshiba Portege 3010 (my previous laptop) is 27.48 cms wide and 22.61 cms deep. But it is the amazing 2.29 inch height and 1.58 kgs weight that really impress people! It is a full-featured computer, including a real CPU (an Intel Pentium III running at 700MHz), a large hard drive (20GB), a touch-type keyboard, and a beautiful 12.1 inch 1204x768 active-matrix screen with 16M colors. It runs over 2 hours on its Li-Ion battery, and over four hours using optional external battery.
Getting Linux to run on the Evo N400c was fairly simple. It was the little things like USB, sound and XFree86 that were problematic. It certainly helped to read the following web pages.
