X was not difficult to get running. The Evo N400c uses an ATI Mobility chipset for video.
Openlinux 3.1.1 during installation recognizes the chipset. Col 3.1.1 brings XFree86-4.1-11, so use that version or later.
The installation process choose an ATI Rage Mobility (1), and a LCD Monitor with a screen of 1028x768/60Hz, Color depth:16. Those are the settings I am using in my system.
