Scientology is one of the more insidious pseudoreligions that have cropped up in the last thirty years or so. While it is certainly not alone in its human rights abuses and illegal mafia-like tactics, it has somehow managed to stay ahead of the various law enforcement agencies who have certain questions to ask them.
