Jindabyne Council

The Council was formed in 1901 by the Glasswalkers, who believed that such a body could revitalise the Garou population after the tradgedy that was the War of Tears.

The small town of Jindabyne, in the Silver Fang protectorate of Wadbilliga, was chosen as the location for the council because of its proximity to Mount Kosciusko, where the last Bunyip was slain.

The Jindabyne Council's charter codifies the group's theoretical aim: the protection of the physical and spiritual environments. A multitribal pack, the Children of Ngalyod, was formed to assist the council in carrying out this goal. The Ngalyod pack is named after Ngalyod, the Rainbow Serpent, the most powerful Bunyip totem. They exist to enforce the decrees of the Jindabyne Council.

Wungala Rose, Rank 4 Homid Philodox: Wungala is a small Aboriginal woman, aging gracefully. Her greying hair is bound up in neat dreadlocks, kept out of her eyes with a headband. Her concerns are for humanity, especially Aboriginal women.

Mother Pasta, Rank4 Homid Ragabash: Mother Pasta is a smiling woman of Italian descent. Since the death of her husband, she dresses fully in black. She has grey hair, tied in a big, rosy cheeks and dark eyes. Mother Pasta is short and heavily built. She is a touch conservative in her opinions.

Children of Gaia.

Innana, Rank 4 Homid Theurge: Innana is a tall, slender woman in her mid-20's, with long, loose blond hair. She has brilliant green eyes, pale skin... and a somewhat vague expression. She favours blue and green robes, and always goes barefoot. Innana is often given visions of the future by Gaia.

Cennonous, Rank 4 Metis Theurge: Cernonous appears as a thick-set man of late middle age, with a swarthy features. His hair dark and his expression dour. His dedication to the Godess and strength of purpose led to his election as part-time council representative.

Fingal Flashing-Claws, Rank 5 Homid Ahroun: Fingal is in his 80's, with balding white hair and wrinkled skin. It has been suggested that it is possibly past the time he should retire. Fingal opposes Darius Winchester violently.

Carla Grimsson, Rank 4 Homid Philodox: Carla is a tall woman of obvious Nordic ancestry. She has short, platinum blond hair and ice-blue eyes. She opposes any further immigration to Australia, and has a reputation for being a hothead. Allied: Mamu

Don Mephisto, Rank4 Homid Philodox: Don Mephisto is a plump, florid gentleman, fond of voluble insults in Italian, his native tongue. He wears expensive suits, has a neat goatee and waits his black hair in a ponytail Don Mephisto is likeable, and is a master of diffusing tension.

Mamu, Rank 5 Lupus Ahroun: Mamu has jet black fur, shot through with red highlights - in lupus form he is almost calf-sized. He is agressive and rude, almost the archetypical Red Talon.

Shadow Lords

Vlad Volaschky, Rank 4 Homid Ahroun: A short, compact man in his late 50's. His hair is iron-gray, his face is weathered and lined, and he has thick eyebrows and deep-set eyes. Vlad believes the council to be weak and ineffectual, but is unwilling to give up his position.

Silent Striders

Grek Twice-Tongue, Rank 4 Metis Philodox: Grek appears as a albino Aboriginal man of middle age. He is bald and usually wears a shapeless hat and dark glasses to protect him from the sun. Grek was given his council position by the voices of a thousand spirts.

Darius Winchester, Rank 5 Homid Ahroun: Darius is a tall, slender man, with a pronounced lack of chin and a stutter. He dresses in expensive suits. Darius is heavily supportive of the Council, and attempts to involve all members in any discussion.

Monash End-to-The-Darkness, Rank 2 Homid Ragabash: Monash is an energetic young man. He is not handsome, but is young and enthused. He has blue eyes and a shock of brown hair. He is new to the Council, only having been there a year, but seems to be finding his feet.

Tjinderi Knowing-Smile, Rank 4 Homid Ragabash: A dark-skinned Aboriginal woman in her early 40's, with a mop of brown hair to her shoulders. Tjinderi argues for the reallocation of the protectorates based on ability, not on tradition. She keep her motives to herself however.
