Rite of Pack Unity (Level 3 (4?) ) A Garou pack can often become closer than family - the physical and spiritual familiarity of their fellow Garou give an intimacy that is rarely seen amongst the homids. This ritual takes that intimacy a step further. By calling on the pack bond and their totem, the Ritemaster can 'share' pack abilities from one member to another. Certain gifts and abilities, or spiritual strength can be borrowed from one pack member for another. However, as this rite is inherently related to the pack's totem, the actual attributes which can be shared are limited by the nature of the totem. As a rule, totems of War allow the sharing of gifts of battle and rage, totems of Wisdom allow the sharing of Gnosis and spiritual gifts, and totems of Respect allowing the sharing of Willpower. The pack totem may make exceptions and use its bonds to exchange other abilities, or may refuse to allow the pack to transfer some abilities. Particular individualistic totems may refuse the pack to use the ritual entirely. The effects of the transferral last about a day, although this can be modified by the nature of the totem - for instance, a nocturnal totem animal may end the ritual's effect at dawn. Pack mates must be in each other's presence and that of the ritemaster during the ritual, but can seperate afterwards. System: The Garou performing the Rite spends one gnosis, plus one per participant (ie: a minimum of three Gnosis). The player rolls Cha + Rituals (diff 7) - for each sucess, one ability or point of rage, gnosis or willpower can be transferred from one Garou in the ritual to another. Abilities may only be transferred from one Garou to one other Garou - a gift cannot be shared out between multiple recipients. An ability shared to another Garou is temporarily 'lost' by its owner, and transferred gnosis/rage/willpower is also lost from the originator.
