Charlton

Ghoul

Age:31

Normally a Prince wouldn't invest as much authority in a ghoul as Alfonse Marchetti has in Charlton - that he has done so is an indication of just how good she is at her job.

Results are what counts, and Charlton is very good at getting them. Whatever's needed by her Master - a subtle word or two in the right ear, a not-so-subtle stake in the right heart, or anything in between. Think the PA from hell - completely devoted to her boss, brutally efficient when necessary, but not really the sort of person who's going to make you a nice cup of coffee.

Not suprisingly, Charlton (only Alfonse can get away with calling her Charlie, and no-one can even remember hearing her first name) has made a number of enemies in the 10 years or so she's been serving her Prince. Originally taken for an attractive plaything, she at first amused, then enraged the Prince's more traditional colleagues as she was given more and more authority. Bad enough that power was given to a ghoul - but to a woman, as well!

She doesn't really worry about this angst, though - the only thing that matters is that Alfonse loves her and trusts her. Anyone else can either deal with it, or just get out of the way. This attitude hasn't really helped endear her to those who consider her a rival...

This unfortunate recent event is of great concern to her Master; without his powers he's very vulnerable to those who would wish him harm. If the werewolves were to learn of the Kindred's weakness, who knows what would happen. Alfonse has retreated to one of his lesser known and most secure safe houses, taking only a few security forces with him. Before leaving, he gave Charlton very clear instructions: find out what's going on, and make it stop. If she can also figure out who's responsible, this would also be good. The Prince has arranged for a ragtag bunch of misfits and halfwits to be at her disposal - while they're not the most powerful of vampires, with things the way they are, no-one's that powerful. And these guys are pretty disposable.

Ridiculous. Chained to the past. Best done away with. But neatly.
Gerald/Geraldine
To be distracted with the unimportant while you get on with the job
Matthew/Matilda
Pathetic.

Image: Close cropped hair, a very plain business suit, and a take-no-shit-from-no-one attitude. There's probably a remnant of the shy school teacher somewhere deep inside there, but if so, it's only Alfonse who'd get to see it.
