Peregrine

12th generation Gangrel

Age:30-something? You forget. You look 17

From a young age, you always dreamed of flying, free like the birds in the sky. You loved going to the zoo and seeing the birds of prey, going to the lake and feeding the ducks. You kept budgies and cockatiels and wild birds would come and eat food from your hand.

In your teenage years, you begged your parents into letting you learn how to hang-glide. After a year or so of playing around, you started to compete, not because you wanted to win, but because that gave you more time in the air. At the same time you were studying hard to get into biology at Uni. You got into the Australian finals at the same time as you started HSC, and the two started to clash, and you were not sure which was more important to you - your parents thought school, your coach and your heart said being in the air.

It all became academic late one night though. Someone came into your window and bore you off into the air. Most of that night is a blur of the wind rushing past you, and a persistent question being asked, not of your conscious mind, but of your soul. You must have answered, because that night marks your debut as one of the undead.

You are of Clan Gangrel, although you never actually met your Sire. Your affinity for birds has increased a thousandfold since your Embrace, and you normally use your Animalism to converse with them daily. For some reason, when you achieved the fourth level in Protean, your winged form was that of an owl, not of a bat, and from that night on, you spent most of your time flying. You normally sleep in the Bird of Prey house at Healesville Sanctuary, and have little to do with the rest of the Kindred.

People you know..

Fergus
An unlikely associate, Fergus once asked you to be a model for a wall they were painting. You were extremely flattered, but started getting weird vibes from Evelyn, so left as soon as it was finished.
Valentine/Valentina
They wrote some poetry about you once. It didn't really do anything for you - maybe poetry is just not your thing.
Murray/Madelaine
So loud, so strange... but they are the only member of your clan you are sure is still alive - maybe that means something.
Mallory
You like Mallory. You had a long conversation about the birds that roost in one of the cathedrals once - that was neat.

Image: You're small, but long - your legs and arms seem somewhat elongated. Over the last few years, you've found yourself taking on more and more habits of birds - you tend to perch, and you move your head in short sharp movements like a sparrow when something interests you so that you can see it from all sides. Occasionally you find feathers in your hair.
