True Seekers, Interim 1995-1996

Pack Occurrences

Following the fun and games between Lisa, Lachlan and Mark (and Naomi), Lisa and Mark moved out into their own place.

Steve also lost his flatmate, with Peter moving out after Marion's death.

Steve and Lachlan, having decided that rooming with humans was more trouble than it was worth, found a new house together in Carlton.

The pack received a visit from Alex Sees-For-Miles of the Ngalyod pack, who went to great lengths to stress that he wasn't visiting in any official capacity, and that he certainly hadn't been asked by anyone to tell them what he was about to tell them. He then told them about the deliberations of the Council concerning the "incident" in Sydney. The Council was divided between those who felt that heads should roll and those who felt that the True Seekers should have a bit of leeway, being the first (semi)successful contact achieved with the Bunyip. Alex did not say who on the Council advocated each position. Eventually, the more lenient side scrapped through, but the issue is still open. Some time in the future, the Council may decide to punish the True Seekers for what happened.

Naomi was either living with Lisa and Mark (staying in lupus form) or at the zoo. She started spending more and more time at the zoo until it became apparent that she was pregnant. Around this time, Lisa and Mark split up.

Naomi gave birth to six healthy pups, none of which were Garou. After a few weeks, the pups were moon bridged to a sept in Canada, to be raised in their natural environment.

A few months later, it became apparent that Lisa was also pregnant. She moved into a house in Brunswick West with a man she has kept well away from the rest of the pack, except for Naomi who often spends time there (usually in lupus form).

Lisa gave birth in July to a son who is not Garou.

Vilna has been going on frequent jaunts out into the country by himself.

Calvin achieved Rank 2

The Sept of Sleeping Lore

Soon after Marion Perry's funeral, an umbral statue appeared over her grave. It depicts Marion as crouching down, holding a shield over a supine figure.

Alexander Urosevic grew more despondent and withdrawn as time passed, despite the efforts of his pack mates and the Sept elders. Eventually, he quit from his pack and the Sept and headed north. He spent some time with the Ear-To-The-Ground Sept, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

The Hand of Lore pack was rendered ineffective with only two members remaining, and the pack was dissolved. Christine and Georgina both joined the Scryers Pack. Christine replaced Aquinas as pack leader in a peaceful transition of power.

The Get of Pennington have also undergone some changes. Kirsty has been acting more and more without her pack, and did not resist Chris McNeil's leadership bid.

The Sept of Rippling Waters

Little has happened to the sept over the year. It is still the same old faces.

The Sept of Scars Atoned

As with so many other former Bunyip Caerns, the site has yielded up little of it's secrets, and the Totem has remained silent on such matters. Teelia Farrow has, for the most part, left her pack and the sept, choosing instead the life on the road. She occasionally returns to the sept, where she is always welcome. It is known that she often associates with Silent Striders.

The Sept of Hidden Green

The single issue that has dominated the sept over the past year has been the growing rivalry between Ion Apostolova and Irena Sliviak for control over various criminal elements. It is believed that Irena will soon challenge Ion for the position of Master of the Challenge. If successful, it will remove her from her pack but give her the time and resources that Ion currently enjoys. It has reached the point where Felix and Drago must sometimes intervene to prevent pointless blood shed and to keep the sept running smoothly.

The Sept of Grinding Stone

Little has happened to the sept, apart from the annual death toll from which it suffers. Rakes-The-Earth died fighting the Wyrm. Hans Dieter was killed by Huros for some reason which no-one is very clear about.

Recognising the fact that the sept suffers constant loses, Commands-The-Waters goes to great lengths to ensure that new Garou are found and that others are encouraged to join. A cub who underwent the Change a few years ago has been through the Rite of Passage. Eric Koehler is now a member of Blood Claw.

The Sept of Reconciliation

The sept is constantly busy, but operates smoothly, without internal tension. Nothing has occurred that is exceptional or noteworthy.
